Muskaan is a Punjabi romantic comedy-drama film directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Simranjit Singh. The story of Muskaan revolves around two families from different castes, who are connected by the marriage of the protagonist with a boy from a lower caste.The film stars Amrinder Gill as Jassi, an arrogant Punjabi man who has been married off to Chandni (played by Elli Avram) from a lower caste. When Chandni becomes pregnant, Jassi’s family expects him to return home and re open his old corner store with his brother Kailash (played by Anupam Kher). But Jassi remains happily married to Chandni, who is unwilling to live with him.

The music is composed by Ammy Virk and lyrics are penned by Gurmeet Singh. The soundtrack was released on 24 March 2017 on the label T-Series Music. The track featured Ricky Chaanjya, Diljit Dosanjh, Aman Verma, Bharat Ali Gill and Kailash Kher.The film received mixed reviews upon release due to its unorthodox story telling style for a mainstream Punjabi movie.
